To all you dear disappointed folk --
Don't give up on Dr. Koop yet! I seem to recall that while SG, Dr. Koop
made political risky moves by reversing his positions on some issues,
after, he said, reviewing the literature. Perhaps he might also be open
to enlightenment about alternative medicine. I suppose we can write him
c/o his website and make suggestions. Perhaps others on the list know him
better than I and could comment further.
